This is a beautiful vintage scarab beetle figure crafted from sterling silver. It features detailed carvings of hieroglyphics. The beetle measures 2" x 1 1/2". It appears someone added a loop for the opportunity to wear this as a pendant. We are unsure what the additional levered piece is for, but it moves side to side. It weighs 77.85 grams.
The scarab symbolizes eternal life, rebirth and good fortune in ancient Egyptian mythology.
