This beautiful necklace is a traditional piece of jewelry made by the Huichol indigenous people of Mexico. It is handcrafted using small glass beads, known as chaquiras, meticulously woven together to create intricate floral designs. The designs often feature flower motifs, such as the peyote or hikuri flower, which hold sacred significance. Often these pieces of art take over a week to complete due to the detailed beadwork.
